The New York Knicks are receiving an early look at the future of the organization at EuroBasket 2017. Kristaps Porzingis has led Latvia to a 1-1 start, Willy Hernangomez has helped Spain jump out to 2-0, and Mindaugas Kuzminskas has starred for Lithuania.
After dropping the tournament opener to Georgia, Kuzminskas has Lithuania back on track with a 2-1 record after two quality recovery victories.
Kuzminskas scored 18 points against Georgia, but Lithuania ultimately fell to the heavy underdog. He recorded 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists the next time out, however, thus leading Lithuania to a big win over Israel that temporarily righted the ship.
