New York Knicks: List of players in Hall of Fame

The New York Knicks have created or rostered players and featured coaches who were eventually immortalized in professional basketball, in the Hall of Fame. Their work on the court was valued and left a lasting legacy on the game. Whether from the earliest times of the sport or as recently as 2018, these figures became prominent in the landscape.

In 2019, former Knicks Paul Westphal and Carl Braun will move into the Hall of Fame, joining a laundry list of people associated with the franchise to make it to Springfield, MA:

  • Tom Gola (1976)
  • Jerry Lucas (1980)
  • Willis Reed (1982): Reed’s epic return to help win the Knicks a championship cemented his legacy, along with legendary in-season performances.
