New York Knicks injury report: Wayne Ellington out, Allonzo Trier doubtful

The New York Knicks are trying to win back-to-back games for the first time this season in Sacramento on Friday. According to the NBA’s injury report, Wayne Ellington will miss the game with left Achilles soreness while Allonzo Trier is doubtful with concussion-like symptoms.

Neither shooting guard has factored heavily into the rotation lately but with some of the struggles of the backcourt in recent weeks, there may have been an opportunity as interim head coach Mike Miller firms up his rotations.

Ellington, 32, was signed with the hopes that he would be a consistent three-point shooter who could help space the floor.
