David Fizdale is trying to build something big with the New York Knicks. The charismatic head coach exudes positivity, but he’s hoping that eventually the rest of the NBA will think about the Knicks negatively.
In a sit-down interview with MSG’s Alan Hahn, Fizdale talked about how he misses being hated. While an assistant coach with the Miami Heat, Fizdale experienced true hatred from the rest of the league.
“I can’t wait. I miss being hated,” Fizdale said. “And once we get this thing right, everybody’s gonna hate us, because it’s New York.
