The point guard competition is one of the most intriguing New York Knicks storylines this season, and Frank Ntilikina is right in the middle of it all.
The Knicks are still mulling over the decision on Ntilikina’s fourth-year option worth just over $6 million. According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Knicks could make a decision on Ntilikina by Wednesday’s season opener to avoid causing any unnecessary distraction once the regular season begins.
Ntilikina, along with Damyean Dotson of the same draft class, is the longest-tenured player on New York’s roster.
