Since the firing of head coach David Fizdale, a number of names enter the conversation for the job opening in New York City. In the time being the New York Knicks assigned Mike Miller as the interim head coach for the time being. But one name lurking around the league for the position is one Jason Kidd.
Jason Kidd has connections to New York basketball. He played for the Knicks in the 2012-2013 season and was named head coach for the Brooklyn Nets in 2013. Jason Kidd is known for developing young talent and it is believed the Knicks chose to part ways with David Fizdale because of his lack of developing players like Kevin Knox and RJ Barrett.
