The New York Knicks were expected to be one of the worst teams in the NBA in 2017-18. Although there’s more than enough time for the Knicks to show what many believe to be their true colors, the competitiveness of the current roster is impressing even the most staunch of critics.
As the Knicks continue to exceed expectations early in the 2017-18 regular season, the mentality in the locker room has been revealed.
It’s only been 14 games, but New York is currently 8-6 with a 7-3 record at Madison Square Garden. Winning on the road is something this young team will need to do a better job of, but the Knicks’ inexperience hasn’t limited its peskiness.
