The day that New York Knicks fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. After months of anticipation, Summer League standout and D-League star Chasson Randle finally made a legitimate debut with the NBA Knicks.
In his first game with non-garbage time minutes, Randle stole the show against the Orlando Magic.
When Randle stepped onto the court, the entire tone of the game changed. He played with a level of defensive intensity that New York hasn’t consistently seen from the point guard position, and displayed an invaluable willingness to create for others.
According to Marc Berman of The New York Post, no one was more impressed with Randle’s performance than head coach Jeff Hornacek.
