On Wednesday night, the New York Knicks faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers in their fourth Summer League game in Vegas. With the Knicks up by 25 points late in the third quarter, Lakers forward Nick Perkins got into an incident with Knicks center Mitchell Robinson.
After Robinson snatched a defensive rebound, Perkins went over the back to try to retrieve the ball. He ultimately got called for a personal foul. In the process, Perkins snatched Robinson’s headband right off of him and angrily threw it back at Robinson.
The referee then tossed Perkins out of the game.
