New York Knicks C Mitchell Robinson named to Summer League 1st Team

Mitchell Robinson is everything the New York Knicks could have wanted when they drafted him in the second round in 2018. He’s a springy big man with a knack for catching lobs and blocking three-pointers.

Robinson, 21, was named to the NBA Summer League’s First Team. He was joined by Jarrett Allen of the Brooklyn Nets, Brandon Clarke of the Memphis Grizzlies, Kendrick Nunn of the Miami Heat, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker of the New Orleans Pelicans.

Robinson posted gaudy numbers in Vegas this year. He hit 29 of the 34 shots he took en route to 13.
