After a long 72 hours away from the basketball court, the New York Knicks will hit the road for a two-game stint away from Madison Square Garden. The first of the two contests take place in the Motor City, against the Detroit Pistons, at Little Caesars Arena.
The Knicks will try to recover from an embarrassing loss to the Sacramento Kings Sunday, losing by 21 points to one of the NBA’s bottom dwellers. A lineup change of Bobby Portis for Mitchell Robinson impacted New York’s post defense, and Portis struggled to hit shots. The change was made to better suit Julius Randle‘s skills, but he still struggled, failing to reach double digits in points and rebounds.
