New York Knicks: 3-point upgrades highlight free agency

Hitting outside shots was almost as difficult as winning games for the New York Knicks in the 2018-19 season. They had few players able to stretch the floor proficiently and no one talented enough to take over games with their three-point shooting.

It was an issue before the Kristaps Porzingis trade, when Tim Hardaway Jr., Trey Burke and Courtney Lee were still around, and it only worsened once they went to the Dallas Mavericks.

The Knicks finished at 34 percent shooting from behind the arc, which was good for 28th in the NBA.
