The first thing that came to the minds of New York Knicks’ fans after the organization traded away Kristaps Porzingis on Thursday was, they will not be able to lure Kevin Durant or any other big-name free agent this summer.
Well, since the trade that doesn’t seem to be the case.
A report came out a few hours after the trade that Durant is still interested in playing for the Knicks.
One NBA executive believes that the Knicks have already been told that Durant is headed to the Big Apple. The following is from Bleacher Report:
“The only reason you can justify doing it,” the same exec said of dumping Porzingis, “is you have some level of certainty in your own mind that you’re getting KD and Kyrie, or KD and whatever.
