Injured Nets forward Kevin Durant didn’t have it in him to show up at the Garden on Sunday, but still razzed the Knicks from afar.
The victorious Nets posted on social media a graphic with the final score, 103-101. Durant commented underneath “2-0,” in reference to the Nets’ two wins over the Knicks this season.
Durant will get another chance not to show up when the Nets next visit the Garden on Jan. 26.
Durant’s buddy, the injured Kyrie Irving (shoulder impingement), also didn’t attend despite head coach Kenny Atkinson telling reporters prior to the
game he would.
