Magic 110, Knicks 104: Scenes from the revenge of Terrence Ross

Welp.

The New York Knicks looked like a juggernaut on Friday night when they marched into Orlando and stomped the Magic. They got that same Magic team at MSG Sunday night, and everybody — including the Knicks players, it seems — were believing the hype.

Alas, the Knicks aren’t that good. They allowed the Magic to keep the game close through three quarters, but still held the lead. Then Terrence Ross — the longest-tenured Magician left on the roster and a long-time Knick-killer — went off. I was actually feeling pretty good about the Knicks’ chances, even as their lead slipped away, all until Ross hit his first couple of Kobe fadeaways with multiple defenders in his face.
