LaMelo Ball is projected to be among the top picks in the 2020 NBA draft, and his older brother believes he would be an ideal fit for the Knicks.
“Wherever he lands, he’s gonna help out a lot. Anybody could use him,” Lonzo Ball told The Post in a brief exchange before the Pelicans’ 123-111 victory at the Garden.
When asked if LaMelo, a 6-foot-7 point guard currently playing professionally in Australia, would be an ideal fit with the Knicks having a need at this position, Lonzo Ball replied, “For sure.”
After the game, Ball had more time to talk, and he expanded on his comments about his brother.
