Lonzo Ball hopes Anthony Davis deal ends with him on Knicks or Bulls

It’s not Lonzo Ball’s choice, but if he had one, the Knicks would be on the top of his list.

The Los Angeles Times reports that if the Lakers trade him as part of an Anthony Davis package to the Pelicans, he prefers to find his way out of New Orleans and to New York or Chicago as part of a three-team deal.

Ball is in his second NBA season and is still on his rookie contract, which means he has no say in the proceedings. Ball’s concern seems to be that he would not get enough playing time at point guard with Elfrid Payton manning that position and Jrue Holiday occasionally seeing minutes there, too.
