Let’s celebrate Carmelo Anthony on his 33rd birthday

To be honest, I wasn’t 100-percent sure the Knicks would put this up:

Yessir, Carmelo Anthony is 33 years old. The greatest Knicks since Patrick Ewing is very much on the outs with the current regime, and this could be the last birthday he celebrates in the orange and blue.

It’s been a long, strange trip for number 7, punctuated with some highs (three consecutive playoff berths, the franchise’s only playoff series win in 17 years, the single-game MSG scoring record) and some lows (most of the last four seasons).

In fact, I’ll let former Knicks coach Chris Brickley sum up the Melo experience, as he so eloquently did on Instagram.
