LeBron James has another superstar target, and the Knicks may have a competitor for Kyrie Irving.
James liked an Instagram post Friday afternoon displaying Irving in a Lakers jersey, adding fuel to the fire that ESPN’s Brian Windhorst started Thursday.
“I think Kyrie is considering the Lakers,” Windhorst told Stephen A. Smith. “… I know he’s in touch with LeBron and LeBron’s gonna make a run to recruit him.”
The Nets are believed to be ready to make a run at the Elizabeth, NJ native as well.
Irving and James have bridged their differences over the past year.
