Immanuel Quickley has been eligible to sign an extension with the New York Knicks since the first day in July. He put together an impressive 2022-23 campaign that resulted in him being the runner-up for Sixth Man of the Year.
The Knicks shopped Quickley for a first-round pick toward the beginning of last season, but he was reportedly off the table ahead of the trade deadline in February. His career year has led to most fans wanting (more like demanding) New York to sign the 24-year-old to an extension.
Heavy’s Sean Deveney reported a little over a week ago that a league executive said that Quickley wants to sign a nine-figure extension.
