Kristaps Porzingis’ Knicks problem is surfacing with Mavericks

Sports

Kristaps Porzingis’ other knee is now causing him to miss games for the Mavericks.

The former Knicks All-Star, who missed all of last season while recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee, recently received a platelet-rich-plasma injection as part of his treatment for a sore right knee, according to ESPN.

Porzingis will miss his sixth straight game for Dallas on Friday night against the Lakers. The 7-foot-3 forward, who was dealt to the Mavericks in February, is averaging 17.3 points, 2.1 blocks and a career-best 9.
