Kristaps Porzingis played his most efficient game of 2018 and the Knicks continued to have the Nets’ number.
In starting out their seven-game road trip with a bang, the slumping Knicks manhandled the Nets, 119-104, in a Martin Luther King Day matinee at Barclays Center. Porzingis poured in 26 points in 27 minutes to go with nine rebounds as the Knicks moved to 3-0 against the Nets this year.
In a shooting slump since the start of December, Porzingis shot 8-of-14 from the field as Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek made an adjustment in reducing his minutes ever so slightly on the second leg of a back-to-back.
