Kristaps Porzingis ‘belongs’ — but will he start for Knicks?

WEST POINT — After missing two straight days with a sore left knee, Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis was back on the Christl Arena court for Saturday’s final practice, back with his smile and back in consideration for the starting power forward’s job.

Coach Derek Fisher’s biggest decision of preseason is determining the starting power forward position alongside center Robin Lopez.

Fisher could go small with Carmelo Anthony, but the major preference is for the 7-foot-3, 20-year-old showing he is good enough to start.

“We have to decide what we want to do at the forward positions,’’ Fisher said.
