Another game, another blowout. The New York Knicks lost yet another game by more than 20 points, falling to the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday to open their Western Conference road trip, 115-87. It dropped them to 4-20: the NBA’s worst record.
It just so happens that Wednesday’s opponent is with the Golden State Warriors, who have the second-worst record at 5-20. The game will be played at the brand-new Chase Center, but without the high-profile stars.
This Warriors team is different from the groups of the past five years. No longer is Kevin Durant around, and Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson both have long-term injuries.
