The Knicks fired their head coach, David Fizdale, on Friday. Mike Miller became the interim head coach hours later. Preceding these events, Fizdale held a practice and spoke to the media. All seemed okay, at least for that day, until the mid-afternoon report of the 45-year-old’s firing after just 104 games.
Fizdale was prepping for Saturday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, with a turnaround in mind after blowout losses to the Milwaukee Bucks and the Denver Nuggets.
