Coming off their most embarrassing loss of the season, the New York Knicks will return to the court on Thursday, Dec. 26 against the Brooklyn Nets. It’s their first game since the holiday, featuring a matchup versus their crosstown rivals.
The Knicks, on Monday, fell to a Wizards team without basically everyone but Bradley Beal. From G League players to rookies, Washington played harder for 48 minutes, including owning a double-digit point lead down the stretch. For all the problems New York had through two months, this was the most egregious loss of any and the rare case of the one they should have won.
