Stop if you’ve heard this one before: the New York Knicks played competitive basketball for three quarters and failed to close out a winnable game.
Well, on Sunday night, that happened against the Boston Celtics. A little over 24 hours later, another game will be played by coach David Fizdale’s team, on the road, in Milwaukee, versus Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s Bucks. The Fiserv Forum will host this game.
While they held a slim lead for most of the game, the Knicks played well enough to stay ahead of the Celtics. From Julius Randle‘s efficiency, to the effective ball movement, the Knicks’ play differed from their previous 19 outings.
