Frank Ntilikina‘s status with the New York Knicks has seemed in question for nearly one year, with injuries and inconsistent play contributing to his woes. He remains on the 2019-20 roster, but one NBA team may want to acquire the Frenchman.
Per Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press, the Detroit Pistons could have an interest in acquiring Ntilikina. They want this cheap, young talent and hope he matures as a player with age.
That is exactly what makes trading Ntilikina dangerous for the Knicks, as he could blossom elsewhere, with an organization willing to give him the necessary development time.
