Knicks to play more young players going forward

With Kristaps Porzingis out for the remainder of the season and the New York Knicks playoff hopes all but over, head coach Jeff Hornacek and general manager Scott Perry told reporters on Wednesday that they’ll be playing some younger players going forward.

“We can see what they do against NBA guys,’’ Hornacek said, via the NY Post. “We see some of it because they practice with us. Unfortunately it comes at the expense of a trade and KP’s injury. If we look at the little bright side, those guys will get an opportunity so that when KP does come back, we’ll all be better.
