The New York Knicks are preparing for a regular season that will be shrouded in mystery. Kristaps Porzingis is the franchise player, but the timetable for his return from the ACL tear he suffered in February is currently unknown.
In order to prepare for what could be a full regular season without Porzingis, the Knicks are stockpiling promising frontcourt assets.
New York selected hybrid forward Kevin Knox and center Mitchell Robinson at the 2018 NBA Draft. It also re-signed Luke Kornet and Isaiah Hicks, and will likely feature returning center Enes Kanter, who opted in to the final year of his contract.
