The New York Knicks are in the uncommon position of having draft picks in both rounds. It’s the second straight year that the Knicks will have said opportunity, but it’s the first time it will transpire in consecutive seasons since 2002 and 2003.
As New York searches for answers, it’s doing its homework on the sleepers who could be of value in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft.
The second round doesn’t always yield NBA-caliber players, but exceptions have been found on a rather consistent basis. Recent examples include Jordan Bell and Malcolm Brogdon, as well as All-NBA and All-Star honorees Marc Gasol, DeAndre Jordan, and Isaiah Thomas.
