Rookie Quentin Grimes played in his third straight game Friday night against the Phoenix Suns.
Grimes got some rare quality time in the Knicks’ win over the Lakers on Tuesday. Though he did not attempt a shot in the Lakers game, the team was a plus-6 when he was on the floor. Coach Tom Thibodeau was obviously impressed enough with what he saw that he gave him some floor time against the Suns.
"He played well," Thibodeau said of the Lakers game. "He did a good job. I was very pleased with his minutes. His ability to function within a team concept.
