Knicks ride Julius Randle to avenge Wizards embarrassment

WASHINGTON — At least the Knicks’ decade of losing ended with a victory and a smattering of revenge. It’s something.

Five days after an embarrassing loss to the Wizards at home, the Knicks rode Julius Randle’s 30 points, 16 rebounds and six assists to outlast the depleted Wizards, 107-100, at Capital One Center on Saturday.

RJ Barrett hit one of his most clutch buckets of his rookie year, draining a big 3 with 2:20 left that gave the Knicks 6-point lead. Barrett finished with 14 points and made a trio of 3-point buckets. It was Randle’s third straight 30-point game.
