Knicks reclamation project Trey Burke signs with the 76ers

An ex-Knick has found a new home, and he didn’t have to go very far.

Point guard Trey Burke signed with the Philadelphia 76ers on a one-year, veteran minimum deal, according to The Athletic.

Burke, 26, averaged 11.8 points and 2.8 assists in 33 games with the Knicks last year before he was sent to the Dallas Mavericks as part of the Kristaps Porzingis trade. After a promising 2017 season, averaging 12.8 points and 4.7 assists per game on 50-percent shooting, Burke hoped to compete for the starting point guard position, but quickly fell behind Emmanuel Mudiay.
