Knicks re-sign Lou Amundson, Ignore need for 3rd PG

In lieu of adding a third point guard to bolster the team’s back court, the New York Knicks filled its 15th and final roster spot by re-signing forward Lou Amundson, the team announced on Monday.

Multiple reports confirm the contract is a one-year, fully guaranteed deal.

Amundson played in 29 games last season, averaging 4.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in 15.2 minutes per game. The 6-foot-9 journeyman has played for 10 teams in his 10-year NBA career, and boasts career averages of 3.
