Knicks’ plans get twisted as Kevin Knox caution flags arrive

The Knicks are 1-2, losing by a total of four points on last-second outcomes.

But the only loss that matters is rookie lottery-pick Kevin Knox, who could be out for weeks with a sprained left ankle, as they begin a two-game road trip in Milwaukee on Monday and Miami on Wednesday.

The Knicks announced Sunday an MRI confirmed the ankle sprain, that Knox would be re-evaluated in one week and that he would skip the road trip to undergo treatment.

However, the club gave no concrete timetable for his return, nor did it give one for Tim Hardaway Jr.
