I always assumed that the New York Knicks and the rest of the league decided which uniforms they’ll wear on a given night. That’s apparently not the case.
It turns out that the NBA and Nike decide what uniforms teams will wear over the course of the season.
“The league gives us a master schedule,” said Celtics travel and equipment coordinator John Connor, via the Boston Globe. “We put it on the wall and we just give out what’s on the wall.
