Zion Williamson seems like a lock to the New Orleans Pelicans. Ja Morant makes sense to take the torch from Mike Conley in Memphis. That leaves the New York Knicks at No. 3, and they apparently have someone — not a surprise — who wants to play for them or another top-five team.
According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, RJ Barrett prefers to join the Knicks or the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Grizzlies can still make it interesting at second overall and take Barrett, leaving New York with Morant, but Berman noted that Memphis is leaning towards the Murray State point guard.
