Knicks’ Marcus Morris unlikely to play vs. Lakers

The Knicks may not have Marcus Morris again to face the Lakers.

After spraining his right ankle in a starring role in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day victory over the Cavaliers, Morris is being listed as questionable for Wednesday’s showdown versus the purple and gold. Morris, who has emerged as the Knicks’ best player, hobbled out of the locker room late Monday night and was reevaluated Tuesday.

Earlier this month, after starring against the Clippers, Morris had to miss the Lakers’ game on Jan. 7 — a 30-point defeat at Staples Center.

The Knicks called off practice Tuesday to attend the David Stern memorial service at Radio City Music Hall.
