Knicks Lose To Raptors 104-99, Tie Longest Losing Streak In Team History

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — The 2018-19 New York Knicks are now officially in the record books, but for all the wrong reasons.

Marc Gasol had seven points and six rebounds in his Toronto debut and the Raptors sent the Knicks to their 16th straight loss, 104-99 Saturday night.

New York’s latest defeat matched their longest single-season losing streak in team history; tying the 2015 Knicks who also dropped 16 games in a row.

Acquired from Memphis before Thursday’s trade deadline, Gasol played 19 minutes. The three-time All-Star entered late in the first quarter and made a hook shot on his first try.
