The photo shoot also revealed what number Porzingis will be wearing for the orange and blue this upcoming season.
It is official! Porzingis will be wearing number six, the same number he has worn in Europe. Being able to wear the number six was questionable just a few weeks back since Travis Wear wore six last season. With Wear no longer apart of the roster after Summer League, this opened up the opportunity for Porzingis to wear the number six once again and according to Marc Berman of the New York Post he is very happy that he can.
