Injuries always take a toll on NBA teams. The rigors of the 82-game schedule create ailments and other issues along the way. The New York Knicks will start their season on Wednesday night, but it seems they could already be without multiple players.
Per Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Knicks are listing Mitchell Robinson and Taj Gibson as questionable to play against the San Antonio Spurs. Robinson suffered a sprained right ankle on an offensive rebound in Monday’s practice.
Ankle injuries are nothing new for the Knicks’ center, who missed time during his rookie season due to a similar case.
