Knicks hit a new low as Philadelphia fans take over MSG

It’s all part of the Process.

The Knicks, in the role of perennially rebuilding lottery jockey, ultimately were fodder for the playoff-bound 76ers in a 118-110 loss Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.

It was the Knicks’ ninth straight loss and 17th in their past 18 games. Were the Bulls to win in Memphis later Thursday, the Knicks would leapfrog them into eighth place in the lottery odds.

The Knicks led 68-60 at halftime, and stretched the advantage to 13 points partway through the third quarter. The Knicks still led by eight with seven minutes remaining, but the offense went catatonic (19 points in the fourth quarter) and the tough jump shots stopped falling as the Sixers took over.
