Knicks: Georgetown Plans to Consider Patrick Ewing for Head Coaching Job (Report)

Georgetown fired men’s basketball coach John Thompson III after the team missed the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four seasons. After thirteen seasons with the school, it was time for a change. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, former Knicks legend Patrick Ewing could be that change.

Per Woj, Ewing is being considered for the now vacant position. He’s been an NBA assistant coach for the last 15 seasons (with various teams) and was a serious candidate for the Sacramento Kings job this past summer.
