Hey, if a slump can hit Yankee Aaron Judge with the strength of Hercules, one certainly can affect Knick Kristaps Porzingis, New York’s favorite unicorn.
“Didn’t Aaron Judge kind of just go through this?” Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek said Sunday. “So relax, people, relax. He’ll be all right, just like Aaron Judge.”
Well, Judge did sort of pick it up after hitting .185 in August with three homers. He was the unanimous American League Rookie of the Year. Still, there are some concerns with Porzingis, and not just because of his three-game tailspin. There’s the right elbow, which despite discomfort, has not been X-rayed or put through an MRI exam.
