One day of practice down and the Knicks are en route to a championship. Should have the East all sewn up in no time. Hyperbole aside, new head coach, David Fizdale, already seems to have this group magnetized. He’s said that every spot on the roster and in the rotation is completely up for grabs. Positive reinforcement and the spirit of competition will probably be the themes they’ll be using to carry this squad through to June.
Coach Fizdale and the crew were clearly feeling the heat of being scrutinized. It may have brought some jitters to a boil but Joakim Noah wasn’t around so no one seemed to get salty about it.
