Kevin Durant’s closest confidant is playing it safe.
The superstar’s manager and media business partner, Rich Kleiman, offered little hints over his client’s future Tuesday during an appearance at the Wall Street Journal’s Future of Everything Festival.
“That is 100 percent undecided and I’m waiting on Kevin,” Kleiman said. “That’s the truth.”
Many in the basketball community would seem to disagree, already positing who Durant will bring with him to The Garden.
Kleiman, a noted Knicks fan and native of the city, of course has nothing to gain by declaring Durant will sign with the Knicks this summer; doing so, while Durant is still a member of the Golden State Warriors, would likely land him in trouble with the league.
