As the New York Knicks’ season continues to spin out of control, head coach Jeff Hornacek was brutally honest with his team after they blew a big chance to knock off a talented 76ers team on Thursday night.
“We just had a meeting [and] coach asked us, ‘Do you guys love to win or do you hate to lose?’” said Knicks’ center Enes Kanter, via the NY Post. “I think we need to hate to lose. We can’t accept [it].”
It certainly looks like the players don’t have the desire to win in the closing minutes or even during the second half of games.
