In a crucial last week of the regular season that started with the Knicks not knowing what seed they’d go into the playoffs as, Jalen Brunson, as he has all season long, came up big and has been named as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. The All-Star point guard averaged 38.5PPG, 7.5APG, and 3.5RPG while leading New York to a perfect 4-0 record en route to securing the franchise’s first 50-win season since 2013. Brunson, who last received the award on March 18th, has now won four Player of the Week awards this season and has won five since coming over to New York last season.
