Ja Morant’s dad has sent a message to Zion Williamson.
Just about all draft boards predict Williamson will go No. 1 (and perhaps to the Knicks) in the upcoming draft, but after Morant’s superstar show in 12th-seeded Murray State’s blowout upset over fifth-seeded Marquette, his father thinks he should be going before the Duke star.
“Is there anything before one?” Tee Morant told Bleacher Report. “Yeah, zero. Let him go zero.”
Morant’s dad was excited following his triple-double Thursday. He had 17 points, 16 assists and 11 rebounds, the NCAA Tournament’s first triple-double since Draymond Green did it with Michigan State in 2012.
